Stepping Stones

Stepping stones are a fun camp craft that campers of all ages can make.  You can use a variety of materials to decorate your stepping stones including pebbles, ceramic or glass tiles and of course a little imagination.  There are different shaped molds readily available at most craft stores.  Be sure to check this out at Spoonful.

Fiber Lab: Paper Bracelet

I came across this blog post by Justina Yang at where techy meets pretty + etc.  This looks like a fun and inexpensive paper craft.  I love budget friendly crafts.

In this tutorial Justina used a craft knife to score the paper; I would substitute a sharpened piece of wooden dowel.  Take a wooden dowel that is the same diameter as a pencil and cut the dowel the length of a pencil.  Sharpen the dowel in a pencil sharpener.  Use the sharpened end to score the lines.

Summer Camp

Summer is here and like many of you I am busy with camp, and there won't be time for the next couple of months to blog.
When camp's over I'll return to posting.
I would love to hear from you on how your summer is going and what crafts you are doing.
Have a safe and fun summer and see you this fall.
