Instructions
Drill small hole on each end of the craft sticks.

Glue the two craft sticks together in the shape of an T.  Set aside and allow the glue to dry.

For the head, glue a wiggle eye to each side of a red 1 inch pom pom.

Cut a small triangle for the beak from the yellow foam and glue to the pom pom.

Cut a 6 inch piece of red rug yarn.  This will be the neck.

Glue one end of the rug yarn to the bottom of the pom pom head.

Glue the other end of the red rug yarn to a two inch red pom pom.  This is the body.

Cut four penny size circles from the yellow foam sheet.  These will be the feet.

Lay a washer on the yellow foam circle.  Match the edges of the foam and washer.  Cut a V into the
foam circle.

Cut the remaining pieces using the first circle as your pattern.

Punch a small hole in the center of two of the foam pieces.

Cut a 18 inch piece of the yellow rug yarn.  This will be the legs.

Thread the end of the yellow yarn through the punched hole in the foam piece. Knot the yarn end.  Repeat for other end of the yarn.

Cut two 30 inch pieces of fishing line.

Tie one end of the fishing line around a washer.  Trim the short end of the line.  Repeat for other piece of fishing line and washer.

Thread the end of the fishing line through the punched hole in the yellow foam piece.  Pull the line until the washer is next to the foam.

Glue the washer to the piece of foam.  Make sure the washer is not seen in the cut V.

Glue the remaining pieces of foam to the bottom of the feet.  Be sure to match the V.
Use clothes pins as needed to hold the glued pieces together.

Glue a yellow 1/2 inch pom pom to the top of each of the foam pieces.

Find the middle of the yellow yarn legs and glue the yarn to the body.

Glue a small bunch of feathers to the top of the head and the body.

Cut a 15 inch piece of fishing line.  Tie one end of the fishing line to the head.  Tie the other end of the fishing line to the top of the T.

Cut an 18 inch piece of fishing line.  Tie one end of the fishing line to the body.  Tie the other end of the fishing line to the bottom of the T.

Tie each fishing line from the foot to the cross bar of the T. (Left foot to left side.  Right foot to the right side.)
