Paper Top

Tools
Glue or a Glue Stick
Pencil
Ruler
Scissors

Materials
Toothpicks - Ornate Wood Hors d’oeuvres Picks
Paper -  I am using a catalogue for my paper.

Instructions
Pull the center pages from the catalogue

Measure the paper into 1/2 inch wide strips.  I measured the strips onto the fold of the pages so I could have longer strips.

Cut the strips.  You will need about 20 strips or about 9 yards.

Glue the paper strips together to make one long strip.

Glue the end of the strip to the toothpick.

Wrap the paper strip around the toothpick.  Tighten the paper as you wrap.  Don't let go!

Glue the end of the paper strip to the roll of paper.

You now can adjust the shape of the roll to make a cone if you like.

Spin.
