How to Make a Hand Loom

Hammer
Marker
Ruler
Sand Paper

Materials
Nails -1 1/4 inch
Picture Frame - 4 X 6

Instructions
Remove the glass and frame backing from the frame.

Sand any rough edges.

In the opening of the frame, measure a 1/2 inch from the outside edge.  Mark with the marker and continue to mark every 1/2 inch.  The last mark should be a 1/2 inch from the outside edge on the opposite side. 

Repeat this step for the opposite side of the frame.
Mark about a 1/2 inch away from the opening to keep from splitting the wood.

Hammer a nail into each of the markings until 1 inch of the nail remains.  Try to keep the nails straight.

This is a small hand loom for weaving.
