How to Tie a Square Knot

The square knot is quick and easy to tie.

Bring the two ends of the same cord together and make a X.  Left over right.

Tie a half knot, twisting the left end around the right end.

Bring the two ends together and make a X.  Right over Left.

Tie a second half knot.

Pull tightly on all four parts of cord tightening the knot.

The knot should look very neat, like a loop stuck in another loop.
