Decoupage Washer Necklace




Tools
Brayer
Craft Knife
File or Emery Board
Hole Punch
Paint Brush
Ruler
Scissors

Materials
Diamond Glaze
Glue (Aleene's Fast Grab Tacky Glue)
Plastic Plate
Scrapbook Paper
Satin Cord
Washers


Instructions
Hole punch a circle from the scrapbook paper the same size as the washer.


Apply the glue to the backside of the paper circle.


Glue the paper circle to the washer.


Use a brayer to remove any air bubbles under the paper.  Allow the glue to dry.


Cut the center hole with a craft knife.


File the edges of the washer.


Seal the paper side of the washer with Diamond Glaze.


Allow the Diamond Glaze to dry completely.


Cut a 36 inch piece of satin cord.


Fold the cord in half.


Insert the looped end of the cord through the center of the washer and tie a larks head knot.  You can see how to tie a larks head knot HERE.

Your washer pendent is ready to wear.
