Satin Cord

Instructions
Put the washer onto the bench block.
Set the stamp onto the washer. Be sure the stamp is in the right direction.
Hold the stamp firmly and hit it with the hammer. You may need to hit the stamp multiple times.
Repeat stamping letters until you finish your word.
Color over the stamped letters with a permanent marker. Be sure to get the marker ink deep into the stamped image.
Wipe off the excess marker with the wet paper towel.
Cut the satin cord 30 - 36 inches long. This needs to be big enough to slip over your head.
Tie the satin cord around the washer using a larks head knot. See how to tie a larks head knot

Tie the satin cord ends together with an overhand knot. See how to tie an overhand knot

Heavy Hammer (you can use a regular one, you will just have to hit harder)
Washers (ours were about an inch)
Alphabet stamp set
